We are looking for a Product Service Specialist to join our team at Imperial Supplies. You’ll play a key role in coordinating and executing processes that support Imperial’s custom product services—including kitting, assortment, and vending programs. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Product Acquisition, Inventory Management, and Sales teams to improve margin, enhance customer experience, and support product availability initiatives.
This position works closely with Category Managers, Sourcing Managers, and the Dropship team to ensure seamless execution of product and service solutions that meet internal and external customer needs.

What You’ll Do
- Manage Custom Kit Processes: Oversee custom kit-building operations, forecast demand for component items, communicate build schedules, and coordinate weekly build cycles across all Distribution Centers.
- Support Assortment Operations: Partner with the Senior Product Service Specialist and Manager to review and release daily assortment schedules based on demand, product availability, and labor capacity.
- Collaborate with Inventory & Purchasing: Identify, procure, and plan component products for assortments and kits; manage select vendor purchasing responsibilities.
- Maintain Service Responsiveness: Respond to PINGS, sales requests, and internal inquiries; monitor daily reports to ensure timely completion of kits and assortments.
- Coordinate Large Customer Projects: Partner with the Senior Product Service Specialist, Asset Manager, and Distribution associates to deliver product and custom service solutions for large-scale customer setups.
- Support Vending Program: Lead execution and continuous improvement for Imperial’s Vending Program—including materials development, installation coordination, troubleshooting, and process documentation.
- Assist Sales Teams: Provide vending and customer-managed inventory solutions; may involve occasional travel to customer sites for program setup or implementation support.
- Drive Process Improvement: Collaborate across departments to optimize systems, reporting, and replenishment processes, maintaining a continuous improvement mindset in all vending-related operations.
What You’ll Bring
- Education:
- Minimum: Associate degree in Business or equivalent work experience
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
- Experience:
- Minimum: 2 years in operations or product management environment
- Preferred: 4+ years in a distribution business office setting; vending program management experience a plus
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Detail-oriented with a focus on process improvement and collaboration
