Cash Application Specialist
Join our Imperial Supplies team as a Cash Application Specialist and help drive accuracy and efficiency in our finance operations.
This is a full-time (40 hours/week) hybrid opportunity based in Green Bay, WI, offering a consistent weekday schedule with no evening or weekend hours. You will receive immediate access to health, dental, and vision insurance, earn 18 paid time off (PTO) annually, enjoy 6 paid holidays, and benefit from a 6% retirement contribution, no employee contribution required.

We are looking for a meticulous and dependable individual who thrives in a role that balances routine tasks with analytical problem-solving. If you enjoy working with numbers, resolving discrepancies, and improving systems, this could be a great fit for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Apply and reconcile incoming payments from various sources (lockbox, credit cards, electronic transfers).
- Research and resolve cash posting discrepancies in collaboration with the AR team and customers.
- Perform account adjustments and process small balance write-offs in line with company policies.
- Review customer discount agreements and manage refund requests.
- Maintain process documentation and assist with updates to the Finance SharePoint site.
What You will Bring
- Associate degree in Accounting or high school diploma with 2+ years of experience in office/clerical experience.
- Strong diligence and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
