Position Details:

You will assist with the entire payroll operation for US and Canada. Create audits/reports to ensure data quality/accuracy. Lead payroll/system related projects, including testing and implementation. Drive continuous improvement by identifying technology/process improvements for payroll efficiencies. Monitor for regulatory compliance changes requiring system configuration changes. Build partnership with your partners and vendors. Be a mentor to the Payroll Specialists. You will report to the Payroll Manager.

 

 

Pay: 

This position is salaried and will pay between $60,400-$100,700 with a 5% target bonus.

You Will:

  • Ensure accuracy of payroll, tax, garnishment, and benefit deductions for US and Canada

  • Prepare On-Demand payrolls and manual checks

  • Complete payroll audits and reporting to ensure accurate payroll processing

  • Balance daily tax invoices for US and arrange funding to ADP; address and resolve tax notices

  • Perform quarterly and year end balancing of tax data to ensure accuracy

  • Manage year end processes and assist ADP with tax filings for US and Canada

  • Provide data analysis for internal partners

  • Help with tax rate/tax code/ pay code set up in SAP and ADP

  • Prepare and maintain SOX essential controls related to payroll for US and Canada

  • Participate in payroll/system related projects, including documenting of requirements, testing, and implementation

  • Improve processes by identifying technology/process improvements for payroll efficiencies

  • Monitor for regulatory compliance changes requiring system configuration changes

 

You Have:

  • Experience with multi-state US payroll laws and practices
  • Experience with Canada Payroll regulations and practices preferred
  • Knowledge of applicable US federal, state, and local rules and laws
  • Experience with SAP, ADP WFN, and Kronos is strongly preferred
  • Experience with payroll technology implementation work
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams)
