Position Description

Position Description
Develop, monitor and facilitate the execution of the Supplier Strategic Growth Program (SSGP). Make recommendations and build a program that increases the value for the company and select suppliers. Solicit and secure funding from suppliers.
Program/Project Management

  • Solicit , present and secure funding from suppliers for support of program along with Product Management team
  • Accountable for delivering key metrics associated with all program activities
  • Develop compelling solutions and program activities that support both the company’s goals and provides value to the suppliers.
  • Act as a liaison between cross functional groups during leadership events and field engagement opportunities
  • Tap into the wider resources and skills within Product Management Ecom, M&E and Marcom to develop better tactics
  • Responsible for communication to suppliers and internal business partners about the program
  • Agility to identify and embrace change relative to opportunities

Strategic Advisor:

  • Ability to understand and anticipate the company’s existing and future needs in-depth (as it relates to SSGP)
  • Bring fresh insight that will help suppliers deliver a competitive marketing advantage
  • Develop joint strategies that are mutually beneficial
  • Develop informed opinions that are backed by research, observation and meaningful interaction with all constituents
  • Build and manage relationships involving all stakeholders and influential people and suppliers
  • Able to relate to people at all levels in the organization
  • Ensure that all potential points of contact and influence are being served appropriately
  • Continually assess the SSGP program. Keep appropriate management informed of issues that arise and resolution.
  • Understand project details and big picture of how the project advances the business partner’s business objectives.
  • Identify high-risk situations, such as a business partner’s reluctance to execute, poor quality choices, or major challenges to recommendations. Notify management about the high-risk situation.

  • Position resides primarily at Corporate Headquarters - Lake Forest - with some travel as needed (approximately 20%)
