Position Description

Leads the design and delivery of Large Customer Sales analytics.  Responsible for providing strategic insights and business intelligence around sales results and operational performance.  Responsible for the delivery of data reports and predictive analysis around the health of our business. Designs & delivers solutions to translate operating metrics into insights that inform strategies, business decisions and recommendations. Considered the Subject-Matter-Expert to establish, communicate and execute a clear measurement strategy for the Large Customer organization, ensuring it evolves over time to reflect the changing needs of the business. 

  • This role reports directly to the Director or Sales Measurement, Compensation, Analytics and Operations.
  • Lead and develop the reporting and analytics strategy for the Large Customer team.
  • Lead and develop governance around sales reports for 3,000 team members.
  • Lead cross functional governance council that will be responsible managing the reports that get generated and distributed to the sales force.
  • Champion and lead the development of impact measurements for all improvement investments in the Sales Organization; ensure metrics and measurements are well-designed and communicated; develop tools and systems for ongoing measurement and socialization of results; assist with the development of both the business case(s) and measurement of forward-looking Sales Organization investments.
  • Own and lead the design and delivery of the driver activities and measurements to be implemented, measured and coached to by all levels of Sales Leadership; work collaboratively within the Sales Effectiveness function to ensure design and systems are relevant and adaptable to the needs of the business; implement continuous improvement practices. 
  • Conduct benchmarking in order to identify areas of opportunity / improvement.
  • Work effectively across various teams and build strong working relationships with business leaders.
  • Ensure rigorous quality control over data, analyses and metrics through processes and procedures.
  • Facilitate an analytical environment and foster data accessibility by providing reporting and analytic tools to Inside Sales leaders.
  • Provide proactive value-added analysis with actionable insights and solutions to key business leaders.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in related field preferred.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, primarily in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SAP, SQL, Business Intelligence (Crystal, Business Objects, Tableau), Teradata and/or other database/reporting tools is a plus.
  • Well-developed oral and written presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in cross functional environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to details.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and excel with little guidance and supervision.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
