Sr Analyst, Enterprise Risk Management

Primary Function

Responsible for supporting the leadership, innovation, governance, and management necessary to identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor the company's enterprise risk program including operational and strategic risks. Supports the development of Enterprise Risk Management tools, practices, and policies to analyze and report enterprise risks. Assists in the creation and evolution of the enterprise risk management framework.

 

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the Enterprise Risk Management program for the company
  • Support efforts to research, analyze, quantify, and communicate enterprise-level risks to senior leadership and the BOD
  • Perform deep dive analyses of Key Risks, including developing an in-depth understanding of risks, coordinating modeling and analysis around Key Risks and obtaining necessary information and data from stakeholders.
  • Design and develop risk summaries, dashboards, scorecards, and reports using appropriate metrics (e.g., risk appetite, key performance indicators, current state risk management activities, opportunities,) to support the evaluation of enterprise risk.
  • Work with departments to identify KPIs and develop standard reporting of data needed for risk management.
  • Track emerging risks and events, and designing, developing and leading enterprise risk assessments/surveys.
  • Analyze results of risk assessments/surveys and prepare summary spreadsheets and reports for department and leadership review.
  • Advise and collaborate on the creation, enhancement and maintenance of ERM program methodologies, policies and procedures.
  • Support the training and educating of the organization on Internal Controls
  • Prepare memos and presentations for Senior Leadership and the Board
  • Assist with managing Internal Audits Quality Assurance and Issue Repository
  • All other duties as assigned

 

 

Preferred Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a business-related field required
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, CFE, CISA or other relevant certification) preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in related field preferred

Work Environment

  • Ability to travel an estimated 5 to 10% per year
  • Reports to Sr. Manager, Enterprise Risk Management
  • Stakeholders include divisional and corporate management, other managers, directors, vice presidents.

 

 

Impact

Influences processes at both the business unit and enterprise level and supports risk management deliverables. Responsible for partnering with the enterprise and business units to assess, quantify, aggregate, and mitigate exposures through the identification of key and emerging risks and evaluates alignment with risk strategy and appetite. Supports monitoring the risk and control environment and consults on risk mitigation plans to ensure that exposures are kept at acceptable levels. Works with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives across multiple business units or Centers of Excellence.
