Compensation

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $78,200.00  to $130,400.00.

Position Details

The Senior Analyst, Category Pricing, is responsible for supporting the implementation of product pricing. This position collects and analyzes the necessary quantity of high-quality inputs to support pricing decisions, evaluates potential pricing scenarios and outcomes, and summarizes key considerations to support final pricing recommendations.

You Will

  • Implement and maintain product pricing for an assigned segment of the Grainger Product Assortment.
  • Collaborate with business partners including Merchandising, Supplier Management, Cross Reference Services, Marketing and others to collect and maintain the needed amount of high-quality inputs to price the assortment.
  • Perform quantitative analysis to develop, assess, and recommend effective pricing scenarios.
  • Monitor the Industrial/MRO market environment and identify macro trends that would indicate the need for a pricing action.

You Have

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in finance, business, or economics preferred
  • 3+ years in data analysis including analytical experience using Excel, Teradata, SQL required
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage business acumen to draw insights from large data
  • Effective execution of work independently and collaboratively in dynamic, analytics-driven, multi-channel work environments
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, detail orientation, and business acumen
  • High-level knowledge of ecommerce business and the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) industry and industrial products a strong plus
