*This will require two weeks of overnight Monday - Friday travel in February 2018 to our Wisconsin Distribution Center for training*

 

The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for accurate recordkeeping of company asset control, including reporting and investigating finished goods inventory. Duties include:

 

  • Coordinate inventory cycle counts & conduct stock out investigations and reconciliation counts. Make inventory adjustments and record them with input from the Supervisor.
  • Determine effective shelf utilization using ABC inventory classifications and pick path efficiency and monitor correct storage methods.
  • Reconcile negative inventory variances and in transit reports. Ensure inventory accuracy is maintained at a minimum level of 98%. Work directly with Supervisor or DC Manager to remain current on cycle count objectives.
  • Investigate and trace inbound packaging errors and receipt issues. Provide feedback to the Distribution Center leadership on corrective actions.

 

Requirements:

 

  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent, valid state driver’s license and one year of general warehouse/distribution knowledge.
  • Three years of progressive manufacturing or warehousing experience and proficiency with powered material handling equipment is highly preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to lead and influence without authority, as well as a high degree of mathematical skills, effective reading and writing skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and operate heavy industrial equipment up to a height of 30 feet above floor level.
