As an intern at Imperial, we’ll help you design an experience that meets your learning objectives while helping you explore how the areas of our business relate and interact. You’ll enjoy a variety of day-to-day work assignments, cross-functional meetings, exposure to executive leadership, and soft skill development.

Imperial Supplies is a growing distributor of fleet maintenance products. We’ve been based in Green Bay since 1958 and have a strong history of double digit annual growth!

This paid internship is scheduled for Fall semester. 10-12 weeks for up to 20 hours per week depending on student interest and availability. Willing to provide supporting documentation for students seeking school credit

 

Supply Chain Internship

Potential learning outcomes:

  • Understand cross-functional teams interact and the relationships between Purchasing, Product Management, Quality, and Transportation
  • Learn processes/techniques to analyze product sales, identifying trends and opportunities for additional customers
  • Learn approaches for sourcing product competitively and identify applicable target markets
  • Understand product positioning to maximize communication and opportunity
  • Learn processes/techniques to analyze inventory flow, demand, stocking levels and locations

  • Confirmation of Purchase Orders
  • Out of Stock Inquiries               
  • Expediting       
  • Vendor Returns
  • Dropship Freight Charges                                             
  • Freight Claims
  • New Stocking Location Setups 
  • Vendor Sample Organization, Labeling, & Maintenance
  • Records Management Assistance
