At Imperial Supplies, we’re looking for a strategic and results-driven Senior Director, National Accounts to lead our high-performing outside sales organization. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for accelerating revenue growth, expanding market share, and strengthening relationships with our largest customers.

What You’ll Do

 

Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team

  • Provide strategic direction, coaching, and performance leadership to the National Accounts team
  • Build a culture of accountability, growth, and goal achievement
  • Own team performance through pipeline reviews, coaching, and development

 

Drive Revenue & Strategic Growth

  • Define and execute action plans to meet and exceed annual financial targets
  • Lead quarterly business reviews, forecasting, and customer deep dives
  • Identify opportunities to expand market share and accelerate growth

 

Build & Influence Key Relationships

  • Maintain strong relationships with senior customer decision-makers
  • Negotiate complex, high-value agreements that drive long-term success
  • Resolve escalated customer challenges with strategic, business-focused solutions

 

Partner Cross-Functionally

  • Collaborate with Commercial Effectiveness to develop scalable go-to-market strategies
  • Align sales efforts with broader company growth initiatives and market strategies
  • Influence stakeholders across the organization to drive results

 

Optimize Performance & Investment

  • Manage departmental budget and optimize return on investment
  • Recommend strategic seller investments to maximize account growth
  • Support VP of Sales in shaping future sales structure and market alignment

 

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of sales leadership experience with a strong track record of driving results through others
  • Proven ability to coach, develop, and lead high-performing sales teams
  • Experience managing budgets and applying financial insights to business decisions
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Expertise in navigating complex sales environments and managing multiple priorities

 

Preferred:

  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience
  • Strength in contract negotiation and change management
  • Experience leading in a fast-paced, evolving market

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel 50%+
