Imperial Supplies is seeking a Senior Contracts & Compliance Administrator to play a critical role in managing supplier, customer, government, and other business agreements across the organization. This position is responsible for independently managing contract matters throughout the full lifecycle, from intake and review through execution, implementation, and ongoing compliance.

 

As a trusted business partner, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to evaluate risk, develop recommendations, coordinate contract activities, and support sound business decisions. What You Will Do

As the Senior Contracts & Compliance Administrator, you will oversee a wide variety of contract matters while serving as a trusted resource to internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing contract requests through the full lifecycle, including intake, drafting, review, redlining, negotiation support, approval coordination, execution, and post-execution compliance activities.
  • Owning complex contract-related projects from initiation through completion by coordinating stakeholders, managing timelines, resolving obstacles, and ensuring successful business outcomes.
  • Collaborating with business partners, executive leadership, customers, suppliers, and legal counsel to identify risks, evaluate options, and develop practical recommendations that support business objectives while maintaining compliance.
  • Participating in and occasionally leading contract discussions and negotiations while ensuring stakeholders remain informed and projects stay on track.
  • Monitoring contractual obligations and supporting ongoing governance activities to ensure commitments are understood and appropriately managed.
  • Supporting bid and proposal activities, reviewing customer and supplier terms and conditions, and assisting with strategic contract initiatives.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and contributing to the ongoing enhancement of contract management practices, documentation, and organizational knowledge.
  • Utilizing Imperial's Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system to manage workflows, documentation, approvals, and contract records.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Paralegal Studies, English Studies, Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Three or more years of experience in contract administration, contract management, compliance, legal operations, procurement, paralegal work, or a related business field.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and independently drive work from initiation through completion.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with diverse stakeholder groups.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, English Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of experience in contract administration, contract management, compliance, legal operations, procurement, sourcing, vendor management, or a related field.
  • Experience working with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software or similar contract management systems.
  • Experience reviewing customer, supplier, government, or commercial agreements.
  • Experience developing recommendations, managing contractual risk, and supporting business decision-making.
