The Scrum Master will guide the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to support overall business strategies. Must demonstrate ability to engage team members and leverage technology to further benefit business processes. The Scrum Master must prioritize and execute the backlog as wished by the product owner, making sure that deliverables are on time with production quality.




  • Assess the scrum maturity of the digital team and organization and coach the team to higher levels of maturity. Identifies opportunities in existing scrum processes including guiding the team toward improved self-organization practices.


  • Works to remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel.


  • Manage and assist the team and product owners to groom and maintain the product backlog, including prioritization and additional opportunities.


  • Facilitates all scrum ceremony discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution.


  • Ensures observance of DOD (Definition of Done). 


  • Forecasts the number of software enhancements possible in a two week sprint, based on evidence and reliable source.


  • In collaboration with the training department, creates new training materials. Identifies need and integrates collaboration of cross functional training materials.


  • Assists in preparing communications to both inform and request action associated with delivering new capabilities and addresses problems. Provides coaching, training, conflict resolution and problem-solving assistance to digital team members.


  • Performs other related duties as assigned which may include: 
    • Review, analyze, and evaluate customer needs to produce system requirement documentation for ecommerce systems.
    • Write user stories/requirements along with associated acceptance criteria.
    • Maintain use cases.
    • Work with business partners to design, develop, and execute user acceptance testing plans.




  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and 1-3 years relevant experience in playing the Scrum Master role for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory. Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in business or computer science and 3-5 years’ experience in ecommerce preferred
  • CSM certification a plus
  • Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: Scrum, Sprints, User Stories, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Automated Testing, Agile Games, Requirements Gathering, Documentation, Research & Development.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, mentoring and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and solve problems.
