Due to aggressive growth, we’re adding an IT Manager role! In this position, you’ll be responsible for leading all activities performed by the MIS team in support of existing systems, development of new capabilities and ensuring project execution is in alignment with Imperial’s strategic objectives.





  • Manage the activities of the designated MIS personnel to include directing, motivating, performance appraisals and promotions. Develop staff skills to drive talent development, contribution to the organization and overall goals.


  • Evaluate, prioritize and manage requested projects.   Manage the day-to-day tasks and activities for all resources assigned to projects.   Ensure roadblocks and obstacles are identified and communicated to management and customer requirements & milestones are met on time and within budget.


  • Drive decisions to ensure the success of projects taking into account timing, risk, functional requirements and business benefit.   Ensure use of Change/Problem Management, Project Management and work prioritization.


  • Ensure project adherence to the standard methodology, practice and tools and all required documentation is completed.


  • Manage communications among teams, other IT personnel, business partners, and external resources.   Supports clear, effective and regular communication.


  • Keep abreast of new technology to improve systems and program operations. Recommend information technology strategies, policies and procedures by evaluating organizational outcomes, identify problems, evaluating trends and anticipating requirements.




  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related degree or equivalent work experience and 3-5 years programming experience required; 5 - 7 years MIS experience preferred.
  • Leadership & project management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with voice, network and security systems.
