What You Will Do

  • Create marketing materials including printed literature, direct mail, web, mobile, social media, video and other creative assets that support integrated Marketing campaigns. Design digital page layouts for corporate literature, direct mail promotions, package stuffers, e-       promotions, digital platforms, tradeshow collateral, catalogs, training materials, sales presentations, forms, packaging, labels, business cards, and trade publication advertisements.
  • Work with interdepartmental teams (IT, PIM, eCommerce) and third parties to create eMail marketing assets.
  • Document and ensure brand guidelines are consistently met across all Marketing and eCommerce channels. Prepare final layouts for exporting to outside print and digital vendor; transforming files for various electronic communications. Work with 3 rd party vendors to ensure quality for final output.
  • Work with marketing services leaders to identify marketing objectives and strategies when projects are assigned. Know how to influence customer’s reading/thinking/decision-making patterns with design, typography and copy.
  • Develop functional and appealing web and mobile content based on usability requirements. Convert Photoshop/Illustrator designs to pixel-perfect HTML/CSS. Upkeep of site includes maintaining working links, evolving pages and creating a consistent look for the site to coincide with current promotions and to promote web exclusive activities.
  • Create videos as requested. Work to brainstorm ideas, create storyboards, record video, and design photo stills. Take ownership of the video production process using video editing software. Upload video to required locations.
  • Responsible for photographing Imperial product and taking portrait headshots, as needed using a DSLR camera and lighting equipment.
  • Research print specifications, request quotes and negotiate print cost via contact with outside print vendors and supervisor. Issue guidelines in regards to various projects.
  • Review projects for design and copy accuracy in advance of proofing process. Responsible for coordinating the routing of projects to ensure delivery to outside vendors by the predetermined deadlines.
  • Design, maintain, and upgrade corporate intranet site to improve in-house efficiencies.


What We Are Looking For
MINIMUM EDUCATION : Associate degree or equivalent degree in Marketing Communications or equivalent work experience.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : 3-5 years previous work experience with Macintosh desktop publishing equipment with a graphic design/print background and multi-media/web design experience. Proficiency in HTML/CSS.
SKILLS : Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Microsoft Office required. Is familiar with the Macintosh Platform, flatbed scanners, printers, digital SLR camera, video equipment, and lighting equipment. Understanding of information design.
