The Email Marketing Specialist will:

 

  • Coordinate and execute email campaigns from specification through launch including list/audience building, HTML, template design, quality control, proofing, testing, ongoing tracking, analysis and communication. Ensure emails follow legal guidelines and industry policies and best practices.

 

  • Develop mobile friendly email templates using personalization and advanced features. Manage automation software.

 

  • Work cooperatively with internal creative, marketing, and sales teams to help develop email planning, strategy and segmentation.

 

  • Work with outside vendors to manage projects and implement accordingly.

 

  • Evaluate and report on campaign performance; advise leaders and internal business partners on how to optimize campaigns. Identify, implement and report out on A/B tests. Support continuous improvement in email process and customer omnichannel experience.

 

  • Monitor and analyze email performance trends for usability, conversion and optimization with a focus on driving eCommerce conversions, supporting business needs or customer lifecycle goals.

 

  • Integrate marketing and sales efforts through automated programs to make marketing execution simple, scalable, repeatable and effective. Create marketing/sales supportive tools.

 

 

Requirements 

 

  • Associates degree in Marketing or equivalent experience and 2+ years of experience in Digital or eCommerce.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, enterprise eMail marketing platforms and vendor or project management strongly preferred. Knowledge of current CAN-SPAM regulations, Marketing Automation, Photoshop and InDesign is ideal.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with firm deadlines and complete tasks with limited supervision.
