We are looking for a Director of Strategic Pricing who will identify, support, and drive Company business decisions along with new business opportunities. You will be looked at to develop and manage the strategic pricing analytics, collaborate across the organization to recommend and evolve pricing strategies based on market context, competitive landscape, customer segmentation, and industry evolution. You will have a great partnership with our Sr. Director of  Pricing Management to establish and test pricing strategies to drive market share growth and margin expansion.


A Typical Day will include:

  • Partner with key stakeholders, develop and execute Revenue Management’s multi-year transformation roadmap. Lead and fulfill company evolution to a market-based, dynamic pricing strategy. Identify, evaluate, and drive pricing action alternatives that are best for the long-term health of the organization.
  • Identify and evolve company strategies specific to customer segmentation, mix management, volume-based initiatives and price elasticity, competitive response, rebate programs and predictive modeling. Develop and inspire innovative ideas to optimize revenue and profitability while expanding company capabilities to scale in a controlled manner.
  • Direct, coach and develop a high-performing team of analysts, advancing competencies in pricing analytics and executing strategies in support of company gross margin and revenue objectives.
  • Lead and guide the development of pricing analytics and reporting to monitor the performance of KPIs such as volume, share, opportunity conversion, profitability, expected value/price realization, and competitive positioning. Collaborate with Business Analytics, Finance, Sales, and other stakeholders to improve understanding and transparency of business performance, trends, and areas of opportunity.
  • Manage the activities of the designated personnel to include directing, motivating, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations and discipline/terminations. Develop staff skills to drive talent development, contribution to the organization and overall goals.
  • Perform financial evaluations of customers, markets, product categories, and the overall business to assess price effectiveness. Proactively recognize trends and quickly deploy corrective action as needed. Lead pricing recommendations and forecast outcomes to inform financial processes and planning.
  • Understand and respond to pricing transparency and the rate of pricing change in the market, driven by digital influences, with appropriate pricing and gross margin management policies to support omnichannel transactions.
  • Galvanize discussions and debate across the organization on key strategic issues. Lead brainstorming sessions to generate creative frameworks. Present critical business information and opportunities that deliver value to customers and drive revenue and margin growth.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of pricing concepts, including elasticity, pricing waterfall, and margin bands
  • Quantitative analysis and financial modeling experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA with an emphasis in Finance, Economics or Marketing Analytics
  • Experience successfully transforming pricing processes through adoption of pricing software
  • Technical experience in SQL, R/Python, Access, and financial modeling
  • Change management experience
