We are seeking a dynamic individual to join Imperial Supplies as a Contract & Compliance Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for leading Imperial’s contractual process, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and mitigating business risks. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, interpret legal terms, and provide strategic recommendations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the internal contractual process through the entire contract lifecycle for complex concurrent opportunities across multiple business functions.
  •  Consult with key stakeholders to draft, redline, and reconcile contractual provisions accurately.
  • Interpret legal terms for non-legal stakeholders, identify risks, and offer solutions to mitigate them.
  • Lead internal and external meetings, provide timely follow-up, and ensure contract compliance.
  • Manage documentation and communication with legal counsel during negotiations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for government compliance and maintain ongoing record retention procedures.
  • Maintain deadlines, communicate updates, and manage expectations of internal and external customers.
  • Review contractual performance and recommend opportunities to reduce risks.

  

 

Minimum Education and Experience: Associate degree in Paralegal Studies, English Studies, Paralegal Certificate, or related field, or equivalent work experience. 2-3 years previous experience in paralegal, contract review, or related business field.

 

Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies, English Studies, or related field. 3-5 years previous experience in paralegal, contract review, or related business field.

 

Skills: Effective verbal and written communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and ability to handle multiple priorities.
