We're looking for an Associate Buyer to join our Procurement team. In this role, you'll be at the center of the purchasing process, partnering with suppliers, sales teams, buyers, and distribution centers to ensure products are ordered, tracked, and delivered efficiently.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in purchasing, supply chain, operations, customer service, or distribution who wants to grow their career while making a direct impact on day-to-day business operations.
What You'll Do
As an Associate Buyer, you'll help keep products flowing through the supply chain by:
- Monitoring and managing purchase order confirmations from suppliers
- Tracking orders and ensuring accurate estimated arrival dates (ETAs)
- Researching and resolving order discrepancies, shipment issues, and supplier variances
- Communicating product availability updates to internal stakeholders
- Serving as a key point of contact for Distribution Centers regarding receiving issues and order questions
- Working with suppliers to obtain shipping updates and critical product information
- Managing communications through internal systems and shared team inboxes
- Supporting buyers and purchasing leadership with special projects and initiatives
- Assisting with onboarding and training new team members when needed
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of experience in operations, supply chain, customer service, sales, purchasing, or distribution
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload and prioritize effectively
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
