Position Description

Serve as a point of contact for E & R Industrial with customer accounts, primarily manufacturing companies covering multiple states, in an effort to handle current requirements and help with new opportunities. Contact with customers is both via phone and email. When applicable contacting the E&R salesperson and effectively communicating an issue or opportunity in relation to a customer is required.

  • Effectively interact with customers to understand their requirement or issue.
  • Use system capabilities to provide information such as pricing, availability, and alternative solutions.

Position Requirements:


  • High School diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
  • Demonstrates functional competence and product knowledge or willingness to learn so you are able to satisfy customer application needs in manufacturing and industrial MRO.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to providing superior customer service.
  • Must feel comfortable working in a dynamic, team-based environment where priorities are continually changing.
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision within specified time frames.
  • Demonstrates dependable, on-time performance.
  • Professional in appearance, attitude, and action.
