Compensation:

The base salary for this role ranges between $39,200 - $53,900, with eligibility for an incentive target of $1,500.00 which is contingent upon achieving both individual and company performance objectives.

The pay range above is not a guarantee of compensation but reflects the potential total compensation for this role at the time of this posting based on the assigned job grade.  Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as geographic work location, relevant experience and individual skills.  The stated range is a reasonable estimate and may change over time; final compensation may fall above or below the range provided.  Grainger reserves the right to amend, modify, or discontinue its compensation and benefits programs at any time, in accordance with applicable law.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (You Will):

  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office
  • Answer phone calls, schedule meetings and customer appointments, maintain calendars
  • Greet and assist visitors and customers to the office
  • Answer customer questions, providing information, taking, and processing orders and addressing complaints
  • Carry out general administrative duties, including but not limited to filing, copying, scanning, etc.
  • Prepare and monitor invoices, collate, and distribute mail
  • Exhibit polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail
  • Support team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication
  • Maintain supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies through purchasing
  • Ensure all archive boxes are accurately labelled and logged per record retention policies
  • Open incoming mail, sort and distribute as required
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Support all functions of the business as required
  • Follow all safety protocol in compliance with WFS Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Follow all safety protocol of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • All other duties as assigned

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS (You Have):

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent experience required
  • Proven administrative assistant experience
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
