POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Assist in the growth of business by ensuring the warehouse is organized in an efficient and effective manner, as well as assist with everyday warehouse and customer service functions within the shop. Enhance and support Services Inside Representative team.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for product inventory of warehouse by ensuring orders are picked, packed, shipped, received and/or put away accurately and in a timely manner

• Actively participate in EHS (COR) program in the branch
• Maintain work area in an organized manner and take an active role in the shop’s cleanliness and maintenance
• Assist the shop in processing orders and assisting customers
• Perform assigned tasks according to documented quality system procedures
• Fill, package and verify customer orders for shipping
• Load and unload delivery vehicles in a safe and correct manner verifying merchandise with documents
• Maintain knowledge and ensure compliance of safety policies and procedures of Occupational Health & Safety Act, WHMIS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act, and all related governing legislation
• Have a proficient ability to use SAP and perform back up role to SIR duties
• Consistently Contribute to meet branch targets

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to lift up to 60lbs on a regular basis
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and personal commitment to get the job done
• Demonstrated focus on “wowing” the customer with exceptional service
• Team-player and an ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills, ability to convey message in an organized, clear and effective manner
• A self starter, taking action to achieve goals beyond what is required
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• Strong computer skills and aptitude
• Mathematical proficiency in order to perform basic addition and division
• Knowledge of dangerous goods and WHMIS regulations is required
• Previous warehousing experience and forklift training an asset
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle (if driving required)
• Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent work experience

PRINCIPALES TÂCHES ET RESPONSABILITÉS :

Les fonctions et responsabilités de ce poste comprennent, sans s’y limiter :

• Responsable de l’inventaire des produits de l’entrepôt en s’assurant que les commandes sont cueillies, emballées, expédiées, reçues et/ou rangées avec précision et promptement
• Le rôle démontre les principes de Grainger : Commencer avec les clients, Faire preuve de curiosité, Agir avec intention, Gagner comme une seule équipe, Investir dans notre succès, Faire ce qu’il se doit.
• Participe activement au programme SSE (COR) dans la succursale
• Entretenir la zone de travail de manière organisée et jouer un rôle actif dans la propreté et l’entretien de l’atelier
• Aider au traitement des commandes de l’atelier et assister les clients
• Effectuer les tâches attribuées conformément aux procédures documentées du système qualité
• Remplir, emballer et vérifier les commandes des clients pour l’expédition
• Charger et décharger les véhicules de livraison de manière sûre et adéquate en vérifiant la marchandise avec les documents
• Actualiser sa connaissance des politiques et procédures en matière de sécurité et assurer le respect de la Loi sur la santé et la sécurité au travail, SIMDUT, la Loi sur le transport des marchandises dangereuses et toute la législation applicable.
• Avoir une capacité compétente à utiliser SAP et jouer un rôle de soutien dans les tâches SIR
• Contribuer constamment à atteindre les objectifs de la succursale

EXPÉRIENCE ET COMPÉTENCES REQUISES :

·        Capable de soulever jusqu’à 60 lb régulièrement

·        Faire preuve d'une solide éthique de travail et s'engager personnellement à faire avancer les choses.

·        Capacité avérée à « impressionner » le client par son service exceptionnel.

·        Esprit d'équipe et capacité à travailler de façon autonome

·        Solides compétences en communication et capacité à diffuser des messages de manière organisée, claire et efficace

·        Esprit d'initiative et savoir prendre les mesures qu'il faut pour atteindre et surpasser les objectifs fixés

·        Compétences exceptionnelles en gestion du temps et en organisation

·        Solides compétences et aptitudes en informatique

·        Maîtrise mathématique pour effectuer des additions et des divisions de base

·        Connaissance des produits dangereux et de la règlementation SIMDUT requise

·        Expérience antérieure en entreposage; formation en chariot élévateur, un atout

·        Posséder un permis de conduire valide et un véhicule fiable (s'il faut conduire)

·        Diplôme d’études secondaires complétées ou l’équivalent en expérience de travail
