Maximize Grainger Canada’s profitability by partnering with Pricing Analysts and supplier partners in the creation, maintenance, and renewal of customer-specific preferred rates (cost support). 
 

Job Responsibilities (You Will): 

  • Build and maintain strong relationship with supplier partners 

  • Assess business opportunities from Sales and other internal partners, engage suppliers on qualified opportunities to improve Grainger’s cost position to win business 

  • Work with the Customer Data Analyst team in aligning cost support agreement expiration dates to the renewed CSP end dates 

  • Proactively engage supplier partners to extend or renew existing cost support agreements to ensure that they are always current and up-to-date 

  • Communicate material cost support changes to Sales and other internal business partners 

  • Provide the Chargebacks Coordinator with all the data needed to activate/load cost support agreements in SAP

 

Education/Experience (You Have): 

  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field 

  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under severe time constraints and pressure

  • Background in MRO industry and understanding of the deal formation process are assets 

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers and supplier partners through email, phone and in-person

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management and analytical skills

  • Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision
